Chapter 518 Is That Not Enough For You

It seemed that Skylar had decided to come clean to Yulia that night since he finally found the courage

to do so. Besides, they were going to spend that night alone and perhaps it would take him no effort to

cheer her up anyway/ However, Lola was at the brink of tears after hearing what he said. She pleaded,

"Daddy, I want to hear a story from you. I'm only able to go to sleep after hearing your voice, daddy.

You can't even cuddle with me tonight, are you not willing to even tell me a story?"

"Oh…" Skylar could not bring himself to refuse her after hearing her say that. So, he nodded and said,

"Alright now. I'll tell you an awesome story then…"

So, he spent a good long while to finally put Lola to sleep. After bidding Valerie goodbye, he hung up

the call. However, as soon as he turned around, he noticed that Yulia was already asleep. Perhaps it

was due to the alcohol that she drank earlier that day that made her so sleepy. So, Skylar let out a

helpless sigh as he stared at her face. It seemed that he had no choice but to find another opportunity

to come clean then…

The following day.

Since they promised Lola that they would return home by nightfall, they did not stay to shop in Troiz

County. Since everything was already taken care of, they decided to head toward Maersk County.

Skylar did not want to see Lola's depressing look. After a two hour train ride, they finally arrived at

Maersk County train station. However, as soon as they reached the exit, they were greeted by a wave

of bodyguards. They were yelling while ushering the passengers to stand aside. "Make way! Make

way!"



After they had made everyone step aside, they immediately stood in two lines as they waited at the

exit. It seemed like they were getting ready to greet some powerful person. This scene annoyed Skylar.

"Are you blind? Didn't you see that everyone else had scattered? If you've offended our boss' guest,

you can never even begin to comprehend the consequences that will befall you!" The bodyguard yelled

at Skylar and Yulia when they noticed them.

However, Skylar glared at them and questioned. "This is a public walkway, why can't we walk on it?" If

they were polite to Skylar, he would have understood that they were doing their jobs and would let them

slide. However, those bodyguards were bold enough to threaten him. So, he snapped back at them.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Skylar scoffed before grabbing Yulia's hand and insisted on walking

on the central walkway.

"How dare you! We outnumber you, so what makes you think that we're no match for you?" The

bodyguards snapped back at Skylar.

"Get him, boys!" A few of them rolled up their sleeves and charged at Skylar. However, Skylar scoffed

at their insolence and knew they were nothing to him. So, with a single wave he sent all six bodyguards

crashing on the ground with a loud thud.

"Who on Earth dares to be so arrogant?" When the other bodyguards heard the commotion, they

charged over to Skylar.


