“Oh you. It’s a charm for good luck.” Valerie pinched Lola’s cheeks.

Lola did not care about the charm as she asked, “Say, do you want to be my new mother, pretty lady?”

“Huh?” Valerie was stunned and thought she had misheard Lola. However, she blushed when she saw

“Oh honey, you’re overthinking things. I will never replace your mother. Mom will meet us after work, so

let me take you out for a meal.” Skylar walked to the parking lot with Lola in his arms after that.

Lola nodded and said, “Okay daddy. I do want a delicious meal. I want to eat some fried chicken

though.”

“Alright then, we’ll have some fried chicken.” Skylar nodded.

It seemed that Lola could not forget how delicious fried chicken tasted back in the Luna Restaurant.

So, Skylar brought them to the restaurant.

Yulia had also arrived there with Dianne.

While they ate, Dianne called out to Skylar, “Sir!”

This immediately alerted Skylar as Dianne would only disturb his meals if things were serious.

replied Dianne.

“Barry?” Skylar frowned.

Dianne replied, “You’re right sir. This is tied to Parker’s gang.”

“I see.”

Skylar nodded.

This explained the waves of relentless assassins. Judging by Toxic’s skills, he was certain that Barry

would be more powerful than Parker.

However, no matter how powerful they were, they meant nothing to Skylar. Anyone who offended

Skylar would die no matter what the reason was.
