Chapter 640 When Noelle woke up, it was already bright outside. She had assumed Hendrix had already gone to work, but when she turned over, she found him still beside her.

Besides, is it really okay for a boss to skip work so often?" Hendrix chuckled at her words. Then, he reached out and ruffled her hair. "What? Are you worried the company will collapse without me? Don't worry. I've already taken care of everything from home." Noelle fell silent, her eyes lowering as if lost in thought.
Seeing that she had nothing else to say, Hendrix turned and left the room to arrange for food to be brought up. Noelle slowly got out of bed and went to freshen up. By the tshe cout of the bathroom, Hendrix had already set the food on the table.
"Why aren't we eating in the dining room?" Noelle asked.
Hendrix paused, then laughed. "For sreason, I just want to stay in the room with you." As he spoke, he sat down beside her. Despite the spacious table and couch, he chose to sit right next to her. "I have ssketches there, too, and I don't want anyone else to see m them," Noelle explained. "Also, once you're there, can you video calfso I can tell you exactly what to bring?" Her reasoning sounded logical enough.
But Hendrix just stared at her. After a moment, he said, "Why don't you go with me?" "I don't want to go," Noelle replied. "I want to stay hand rest." Hendrix fell silent.
Noelle frowned and asked, "You don't want to help me? Forget it, then." With that, she set her glass down, looking as if she were upset.
