Chapter 210 When Lucas received Jacob's call, he was in the middle of a meeting with Jason.
Jacob informed him that Flying Seal Group had directly delivered their decision, firm and final, without any room for discussion. Not a single unnecessary word was uttered. It was a clear and hard ultimatum.
Lucas remained silent for a long moment, his eyes revealing a flicker of emotion before he finally said, "Understood." Jacob hesitated but eventually hung up.
To him, Lucas was too calm. He had always known Tiffany carried a sense of pride. After all, she had grown up being hailed as a successful person, breezing through top schools, always surrounded by praise. As someone treasured by Lucas, it was not surprising that she might have blind spots in dealing with others.
And yet, this situation could have been resolved with just a few words of explanation from Tiffany to Flying Seal Group.

Then again, from a business standpoint, giving project oversight back to TechNova Group's senior members was probably for the best. Still, if things turned too sour, he did not want to risk losing the whole partnership.
Tiffany, sitting beside Lucas, had picked up on a few keywords from the conversation. Her expression subtly tensed. In truth, she had not expected this.
She had merely felt that Flying Seal Group's requirements were too idealistic and had wanted to negotiate the details. She never imagined they would not even have the patience for that.
Jason noticed the change in atmosphere and asked, "What's going on?" Tiffany pressed her lips together.
Lucas responded coolly, "Flying Seal Group requested to have Tiffany replaced." Even Jason was surprised. He had known that Tiffany had taken over the project for TechNova Group. From the beginning, he suspected that frequent contact between Tech Nova Group and Flying Seal Group meant Tiffany would inevitably interact with Evelyn.
He had even thought conflict was possible-whether from personality clashes or project friction. But he had not expected Flying Seal Group to directly demand a change.
At the next table over, Brandon had overheard the conversation and turned around in surprise. "Did you make a mistake? Or did you offend someone from Flying Seal Group?" Tiffany's expression was calm. "The partnership has just begun. It's a little early to talk about mistakes." So it was an offense, then? The one comment brought everyone's thoughts to the sperson-Evelyn.
Brandon gave a low chuckle. "Ms. Moore, it looks like being too capable makes you a target. This isn't your fault." Tiffany, for her part, was genuinely surprised by Flying Seal Group's stance.
She had always seen herself as professional and detail-oriented. She had merely raised sconcerns from a technical point of view. Yet, it had been twisted into an excuse for criticism? Jason said nothing, but his brow was furrowed. He had interacted with Evelyn a few times. She did not strike him as the kind to stir up behind the scenes. A project like this had many layers. It was not something that could be pinned on one person's whim.
"It's fine. I don't mind." Tiffany crossed her legs, making her stance clear. "If their internal team can't assess my abilities objectively, I'm not going to force it. I'll step down." Brandon was visibly surprised. Tiffany was actually stepping away. She was not going to play Flying Seal Group's gor put up with their request.
"What now, though?" Jacob asked the real question.
Lucas lowered his gaze, absentmindedly fiddling with the lighter in his hand as if deep in thought.

Tiffany looked at him and spoke with ease, "Lucas, don't worry about me.
TechNova Group can still carry stilcery but the project with Flying Seal Group. We can't control what others think. What matters is staying focused on the work and putting personal differences aside." Lucas lifted his gaze to her. After a moment, he asked, "You're sure you're okay with this?" Tiffany smiled lightly. "It was my own decision to withdraw. It's my choice."
It was not something forced on her.
She hoped Flying Seal Group understood that much. Besides, even if she missed the chance to work on ΕΠ a project once overseen by Graham, there would be more opportunities in the future to learn from Graham's team. As for the current situation, she truly did not care.
Brandon watched her profile for a moment. What he saw was someone
composed, intelligent, and dignified.
If anything, this only made Flying Seal Group seem overly reactive in overly contrast.
