Chapter 172 It was so painful to the point where Evelyn hadn't been able to hold it in any longer and had almost asked Lucas for help. However, fortunately, something had gone wrong with Tiffany, distracting him completely from noticing how terrible her condition was.
Of course, she wasn't naive enough to think that even if Lucas had seen her in such a state, he would've stayed by her side.
At least she was relieved that her terminal illness remained a secret.
Once Leonard's condition improved, she would be able to lay everything out without fear.
By the tLucas arrived at Bluezen, Tiffany had been working non-stop for two days. It was obvious she wasn't in a good condition.

I can't let you or all these hardworking employees down." Michael looked at Lucas and said, "Ms. Moore, Mr. Grant is concerned about you. Why don't you eat something first? I've brought you soatmeal." Tiffany's mood brightened at these words, and she smiled. "Lucas, I'm sorry for making you worry." Lucas nodded slightly and sat behind the desk, focusing on the details on the computer screen.
Michael moved forward to open the food container.
However, Tiffany, who had low blood sugar, trembled slightly, and soatmeal on the spoon spilled onto her chest. She hurried to wipe it off but only made a bigger mess.
Lucas noticed and instructed Michael, "Go get a new set of clothes." Michael nodded and quickly left. He soon returned with a brand new white dress shirt for men that still had the tag on.
Tiffany frowned a little. "This is for men, isn't it? Where did you get this from?" She didn't want to wear any random clothes.
Michael explained, "This is Mr. Grant's shirt. I thought you might be uncomfortable with the food on your clothes, so I brought this over for you to change into. I'll get new clothes for you afterward." Hearing that it was Lucas', Tiffany's expression softened. She even seemed surprised and pleased. A woman wearing a man's shirt often symbolized a certain level of intimacy.
"It's fine. I'll wear this one," she said, reaching out for the shirt.
But before she could take it, Lucas looked up at her and asked, "Where did you get this from?" He didn't remember leaving a shirt here.
Michael hesitated before replying, "...It was in the cabin your office." It was a cabfilled with gifts that Evelyn had sent to Lucas over the years, including shirts, ties, cufflinks, and so on. Since this shirt was there, Michael decided to bring it to Tiffany.
After all, Lucas had never worn it. He never even bothered to look at those things in the cabinet. So, it wouldn't matter if Tiffany wore the shirt and just disposed of it after.
Lucas' gaze remained unchanged as he stood up and took the shirt from Tiffany. "Don't wear this. Michael, go buy a new one." Her smile faded slightly. "Lucas?" Why didn't he want her to wear his clothes?
Lucas glanced at her. "No need to make do. Have someone get you something that fits and is comfortable." Tiffany's expression softened.

Michael went to buy new clothes for Tiffany while Lucas took the shirt back to his office. As he walked to e. the cabinet, he looked at the neatly arranged items inside -various well-packaged gifts. There were quite a number of them, and he had never opened them. When he placed the shirt back into the cabinet, he noticed an unsealed package in the corner.
Lucas' dark eyes narrowed. Suddenly, he remembered what Evelyn had mentioned at dinner-the documents.
Was this them? What documents could she have been so concerned about? He hadn't seen them yet.
As for the reply she wanted, he had to see them first before he could give her an answer. He frowned and reached for the envelope, pulling it out from the cabinet.
