Chapterg4
Valerie found this incredible.
She could hardly remain calm.
How ridiculous it was!
“You can leave!” Valerie whispered, slowly turning her head to look at Margaret, who sat in the wheelchair and
smirked.
Margaret said, “Valerie, | have another gift for you.”

With that, she turned her body sideways and fell out of the wheelchair.
The wheelchair crashed into the ground, making a loud bang.
Esteban at the door rushed in at once.
“Valerie, Terry and | really had nothing! You... You don’t have to hatelike this...”
Esteban saw Margaret lying on the ground and immediately felt miserable for her.
Seeing Valerie standing still as if nothing had happened, he becfurious. “Valerie, what's wrong with you?
Margaret is a patient. How could you treat her like this?”
Valerie remained expressionless.
The next second, when she saw Terrence rushing over, she instantly had resentment in her eyes.
Her body trembled as well.
Terrence did not notice her reaction.
In his eyes, there was only Margaret lying on the ground. He asked, “What's going on?”
“Terry, it's not Valerie's fault. It's all my fault. | said the wrong thing carelessly,” Margaret interrupted, not giving
Valerie a chance to speak. She choked softly, “It hurts, Terry. Can you taketo the hospital?”

Terrence furrowed his brows and glanced at Valerie, only to realize how horribly pale her face had become.
He glanced at the curled-up Margaret, pressed his brow, and hesitated for a second before picking up Margaret
and heading toward the door.
The footsteps downstairs faded away. Only then did Valerie cto her senses. She collapsed feebly to the
ground, like a puppet with a broken string.
In hospital.
Esteban checked on Margaret while rambling on, “Terrence, you really should teach Valerie a lesson. Margaret
had good intentions, but Valerie pushed to the ground. I've never seen a person like her?”
