Dona rubbed her swollen face, gave a laugh, and asked, “How about this then?”

Wendy glanced at the smartphone in her hand and immediately scowled. Dona descended the steps, approached

the reporters, and played an audio file. The conversation in the file was from yesterday’s meeting in Wendy’s office.

“Do you think jumping ship to Starlight International will solve anything. Do you think the Alonso family will just let

you go?

“Everyone says Chloe is smart. Do you think she hasn’t thought about how the Alonso family will suppress you after

you switch over to her? She’s just using you to get back at me. You trust her so much before even starting to

collaborate, why don’t you try canceling your contracts and see if she can protect you?”

The speaker was undoubtedly Wendy. The reporters heard it loud and clear, leaving their faces full of surprise.

softly on the side.

to report it.

under me. As for industry rules or legal issues, I might understand them better than you. If the company breaks the
