ready to restrain her at any moment.

Wendy walked up the steps, her eyes fixed on Chloe. After a while, she turned to look at Dona. “What is the

meaning of this? What are you doing here?”

“It’s obvious, I’m here to discuss a partnership with Ms. Summers.”

Wendy said angrily, “A contract with her?”

“Your contract and their contracts are all with my company. How dare you discuss contracts with others?! Dona, are

you betraying me?!”

The most talented artists in the company were almost all trained by Dona. Now that Dona was leading everyone to

collectively betray Wendy, how could she not be angry?
