Chapter 588
The Dillion family was pretty stoked about Brittany, especially after her recent show-up, which left them super
impressed.
The family had a hearty dinner together, and Brittany had knocked back a few, looking a bit buzzed.
Seeing that, Mrs. Dillion said to William, “She looks beat, why don’t you help her get some shut-eye upstairs? Let
the help take care of her, don’t let her wear herself out.”
William, grinning, replied, “Sure thing.”
He walked over to Brittany and helped her upstairs.
“Ms. Dustin’s got the whole package. Both brains and beauty. She’s a great catch for our William.”
“Couldn’t agree more. If it weren’t for Ms. Dustin’s help this time, we’d have been up the creek without a paddle.

William got Brittany to settle in the guest room. He helped give her a bath and change her clothes before tucking
her in.
Brittany was out like a light, sunk deep into the CS.
William sat by the bed, watching her, his eyes filled with affection.
He reached out and gently touched her face. He then got up and left the room.
“William.”
His cousin, Olivia was standing not far off with a glass of milk in her hand, “You’ve had a few drinks as well. Here,
have some milk.” William took the milk and asked her, “You need something?”
“Let’s talk in the room.” Olivia took a seat on the sofa, “You and Brittany have been together for a while now. When
are you planning to pop the question?”
Pop the question?
William took a sip of his milk and replied, “Haven’t thought about that yet.”
“William, Brittany is a hell of a gal. If you don’t lock it down soon, you might…” Olivia didn’t finish her sentence, but
her meaning was clear. She was worried Brittany would be snatched up by someone else.
“Bri has her own mind.” William shook his head, “Besides, we’re already an item. I trust Bri wouldn’t do anything
inappropriate with anyone else.”
Olivia frowned. She had recently received a picture of Isaac holding Brittany. She knew Brittany wouldn’t do
anything untoward, but she was worried Isaac might step out of line.
Seeing William so confident, Olivia swallowed back her words.
Finally, she said, “I still think you should put a ring on it sooner rather than later. Don’t dilly-dally, got it?”
William saw Olivia out, then headed to the bathroom after standing in place for a while.

Daniel was about to leave for school, and when he saw her, he clung to her leg and asked, “Mommy, can you drop
me off at school?”
Daniel missed Brittany a lot. She hadn’t spent much time with him recently.
Brittany leaned down and gave him a peck, “Sure, sweetie. I’ll drop you off.”
She carried Daniel downstairs and the nanny followed behind with their stuff. Daniel was telling her all about his
recent days in a soft voice as he clung to her neck.
Brittany realized she had been neglecting Daniel because of her work.
They reached Starlight Nursery and Brittany got out of the car with Daniel. He clung to her clothes, “Mommy, can
you pick me up later?” Brittany said helplessly, “Alright, I’ll pick you up in the evening. Be good at school, okay?”
Daniel hugged her tightly and gave her a kiss. The nanny beside them was grinning from ear to ear.
When they were finally at school, Brittany watched him enter the nursery, then left with the nanny.
Meanwhile, in a corner, Olivia was watching Brittany and Daniel’s interaction, her eyes wide. That kid was calling
Brittany mom?
Did Brittany have a son?
