Chapter 99 Harvey tossed off his coat as soon as he stepped into the apartment, throwing it onto the couch without a care.
Eloise whispered, "I'm going to change." Harvey glanced at her without a word, then motioned for Orlena and Max to sit.
Instead, Orlena dragged Max around for a tour.
She ran her fingers over the Louis II piano and exclaimed, "Man, you're living large! Did you have this piano air shipped here? And your apartment has also changed a lot." Harvey fetched a bottle of red wine and four glasses from the liquor cabinet.

Harvey was so good to Eloise! Max looked somewhat uncomfortable.
He had rushed over impulsively but felt uneasy once he entered the apartment. The place was filled with Eloise's presence, constantly reminding him that the woman who had loved him for four years was now living with another man.
He picked up his glass and downed the wine in one gulp.
Harvey swirled the wine in his glass, in high spirits.
Then, Eloise emerged in a soft loungewear, her hair tied up in a ponytail, revealing her slender neck.
Harvey watched her for a bit, then said in a master-of-the-house manner, "Just whip up something simple. Orlena's always on a diet, so no matter how much you cook, she'll only eat a little." Feeling guilty about the kidnapping incident, Orlena told Eloise warmly, "Eloise, I promise I'll eat everything you make." Eloise smiled and headed into the kitchen.
Harvey put down his glass and followed her. He closed the door and saw Eloise rummaging through the fridge. He pinned her against it.
"What's up?" Eloise asked softly.
Looking down at her, Harvey kissed her neck and said in a husky voice, "You look even younger after you've changed out of your makeup and clothes." His warm breath tickled Eloise. She gently pushed him away, "We have guests. Go keep them company." Harvey kissed her on the nose.

Harvey looked at her, a roguish glint in his eyes. He asked her, "How am I supposed to go out like this, Eloise? Tell me."
