“Now that everything's out in the open, let's toast to that!” Morris suggested, raising his glass to Elliot.
Noticing Corynn had drunk quite a bit, Elliot signaled the waiter for a glass of juice, but Corynn politely declined.
“Ill join in with you all. | wouldn’t want to be the odd one out,” she declared, lifting her glass of red wine.
With pursed lips, Elliot took a sip of juice.
After a moment of silent observation, Amanda averted her gaze. She felt considerably more content than before.
Raising her glass, she gestured to drink with Elliot.
“I'm not feeling well in my stomach. I'll stick to juice,” he declined.
Amanda’s smile faltered slightly, but she brushed it off. If Elliot didn’t drink with her this time, there would
always be a next opportunity. At the very least, Corynn had consumed her wine.
Luckily, half of her objectives had been met.

Soon after finishing her drink, multiple shadows danced in front of Corynn’s eyes. Assuming she was intoxicated,
she paid no heed and quietly nestled against the sofa, drifting into slumber.
“Why is she asleep already?” Morris intended to share a few more drinks with Corynn, but her early inebriation
caught him off guard.
Observing Corynn, Lillian remarked to Morris, “I think she drank too quickly, and the wine was quite potent.”
Morris nodded in understanding. He turned to Elliot, wanting to join the latter for drinks.
However, Elliot refused. With Corynn inebriated, he proposed escorting her back for rest.
Amanda intercepted him. “Why don’t you continue drinking with Morris? Lillian and | will see Corynn upstairs.”
She suggested accompanying Lillian to allay any suspicion Elliot might harbor.
Elliot didn’t question it, feeling more at ease with Lillian’s presence.
Upon securing a suite upstairs, Amanda arranged for those men to discreetly enter. Then she returned to the
private room. She and Lillian helped Corynn to her feet, and the three of them left.
Evan had informed her that Bad Blood acted swiftly. Initially inducing drowsiness and unconsciousness, it
eventually stirred the deepest desires within.
He even assured her that even the most virtuous woman, upon using this potion, would transform into a
seductress.

After Corynn’s departure, Elliot was lost in thought. His heart raced with a sense of foreboding.
After bidding Morris farewell, he acted like he left, but in reality, he discreetly trailed them.
Upon seeing the elevator stop at the sixteenth floor, Elliot swiftly boarded another elevator.

Upon arrival, he spotted Amanda and Lillian exiting a room. Stealthily retreating to a corner, he waited until they
departed in the elevator before emerging.
In all honesty, he had no idea why he did it in secret.
His clandestine actions might have stemmed from concern that Amanda might cause trouble for Corynn if she
spotted him.
Approaching the door they exited, Elliot quietly unlocked it with a room card he got from reception.
In the moonlight, he discerned a faint silhouette on the bed. Cautiously, he approached, mindful not to disturb
Corynn.
Sitting beside her, he gently brushed Corynn’s cheek, noting the warmth of her skin.
As he leaned in closer, the room suddenly flooded with light.
It took Elliot a moment to adjust. Upon reopening his eyes, he found several men standing beside him.
“Are you here with us?”
