Chapter 467
W-What did I just hear? Did he just say he would have me executed in Prudent Hall? Does he not know
who I am?
With that in mind, Yvette protested, “I-I'm the only daughter of Leo Sullivan, the former leader of
Tarragon!”
The leader ignored her and continued fiddling with the communication device as he added, “Prolong
the execution process as much as possible. I want you to use all the torture devices available in
Prudent Hall. Failure to do so will be treated as a sign of incompetence, and I have no use for
incompetent people. My pet crocodiles should be hungry by now, so this would be a perfect time to
feed them.”
Yvette was as white as a sheet when she heard that, and a clear liquid slowly flowed out from beneath
her.
“No, I don't want to die! I didn't do anything wrong! Why would you torture me to death?” she protested
desperately.
Daniel stepped forward and reminded her, “Leader isn't talking about you, Your Royal Highness. He's
referring to the traitors that we have captured at headquarters.”
At that moment, Yvette had never felt more relieved in her entire life.

chair.
“Let's talk somewhere else. It stinks in here,” he said while walking toward the door.
Holden flashed Micah a taunting smile in response.
Hah! Take a good long look at this fiancée of yours, Micah! She tried to seduce the leader right in front
of you and ended up embarrassing herself!
There was a vicious glint in Micah's eyes as he pursed his lips and yelled, “Get out, all of you!”
Everyone quickly backed out of the hall to give Micah and Yvette some privacy.
“P-Please don't get the wrong idea, Micah! I-I was just trying to serve our leader some tea!” Yvette
stammered in a trembling voice.
Micah narrowed his eyes and glared coldly at her as he said, “Being the princess doesn't give you the
right to act as you please. Your father didn't raise our leader, so he doesn't owe the Sullivan family
anything. If you offend him, he will not hesitate to have you killed. Do you understand?”
Yvette shuddered in fear when she heard that. “If you don't want to see me offend him and end up
getting killed, then hurry up and marry me! If you do that, I promise I'll behave myself and remain at
headquarters! I won't mess with anyone ever again!”
“No.” Micah shook his head without any hesitation whatsoever. “I will never marry you. There are lots of
men out there who are much better than me. I'm sure you'll find the right one for you someday.”
Yvette let out a wry chuckle and yelled at him, “Why would you stop me from going after other men if
you won't marry me?”
The veins on Micah's forehead were bulging as he muttered through clenched teeth, “You can go after
any other guy you like, but the leader is off-limits! You are unworthy of a man like him!” He then
stormed out of the hall immediately after.
Yvette got so mad that she was trembling all over as she grabbed a tea cup and hurled it at the door.
I'm unworthy? I'm the freaking princess of Tarragon! Who else could possibly be worthy of dating our
leader and ruling over Tarragon alongside him?
With a glass of wine in hand, the leader leaned against the couch in the study and arched an eyebrow
at Micah. “That woman is your responsibility, so make sure you keep her under control. I will have her
thrown into the snake pit if she tries to seduce me again.”
Holden shot Micah a glance before saying, “Leader, I'll need to make a trip to Zaewora and regain
control of that area.”
“We're in no rush. Juliana has returned to her family. We can talk about reclaiming our land in Zaewora
after she becomes the head of the family,” replied the leader calmly.
Meanwhile, Shirley had smashed up everything she could get her hands on in the fancy suite of a five-
star hotel.
Her parents could only sigh as they stood by the door.

engagement party turned out. They were this close to getting engaged, but then the fire broke out and
ruined everything.”
“There's no point in talking about that now. We need to find a way to calm our daughter down.”
Ring! Ring! Ring!
Their conversation was interrupted when the doorbell rang all of a sudden. Genevieve turned around to
open the door and saw Zoey standing outside.
“Hi, Mrs. Gourd. My parents and my brother are currently busy taking care of the Shurmer family's
relatives, so they sent me here to deliver our apologies instead.”
Genevieve quickly brought Zoey into the living room when she saw that the woman was drenched in
the rain.
“Oh, you silly girl! You didn't have to come all the way here in the pouring rain! A simple phone call
would've sufficed!”
“My parents have already called you, so I figured it'd be better if I came over in person instead. By the
way, where's Shirley? I'm a bit worried about my future sister-in-law.”
Delighted by what Zoey called Shirley, Genevieve said with a smile, “That's so sweet of you! Shirley is
still having a fit in her room. Since you're here, maybe you can go talk to her.”
“Sure!”
Genevieve then opened the room door with a key and let Zoey in.
“Shirley, I found out who it was that set fire to Century Hotel!”
