Chapter 968 The Fight Ends When One Party Gives Up
Nicole kept quiet after hearing his words. Those who hailed from Lome had been on the battlefield, and they
wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully without a gun by their side. She was familiar with their character since she had
stayed in Lome for half a year before.
Colton glanced at them, then lowered his head to ask Nicole, "Where do you want them to stay?"
His question angered Roger, who glared at Colton as he stood in front of him. His tall figure towered over the man
as he said fiercely, "What do you mean, pretty boy? Do you think we are here to mooch off you? You're so skinny,
and I don't know why Boss would fall for you."
Roger hated men who suited up and had a successful, elite look; he found them irritating to look at. Roger looked so

Noticing that, Colton took a few steps back and kept a distance from Roger. "An outsider like you shouldn't interfere
in our matters," he uttered.
His remark instantly enraged Roger, and his knuckles cracked when he clenched his fists. He glared at Colton
fiercely while gritting his teeth. "Nicole is my Boss, but what are you? Pretty boy, do you want to fight?"
Hearing that, Colton scanned the room and noticed that all of the men inside the house were burly dudes. He
counted them and realized there were about twenty of them. Seeing how provoked Roger was, Nicole frowned and
spoke up. "Okay, Roger, that's enough. Don't make a scene."
As soon as Nicole finished speaking, she heard Colton respond, "Okay." When she realized that it was Colton's voice,
she couldn't help but turn her head to look at him. Has he gone mad?
Roger had survived the attacks of gunfire for years and was also the deputy head of Lome. If Nicole wasn't around,
he would be in charge. Roger was always at the forefront, and he was also the best at fighting. "Colton, you don't
need to boast to prove yourself. Roger isn't any ordinary person," said Nicole while deliberately lowering her voice.
"Let's have a hand-to-hand combat in the courtyard. The fight ends when one of us gives up." Colton raised his
eyebrows and smiled as he looked over at Roger.
"Alright, I want to see what skills this pretty boy has since Boss picked him," Roger said with a sinister smile while
rubbing his hands together, ready for a fight.
Seeing that Colton was going to fight Roger, the group of burly men inside the house sneered. After all, Roger had
fought on the front line for years. His body was covered in knife wounds, gunshot wounds, and even burns. How
could Colton, who worked in an office every day, possibly beat him?

Nicole naturally thought the same way. Seeing that Colton was serious about the fight, she hurriedly pulled him
back and whispered, "You're no match for him. There's no need to prove yourself, and they're all rough men who
speak bluntly."
When Colton saw that Nicole was worried about him, he couldn't help but smile. He lowered his voice and asked
jokingly while patting her head, "Worried about me now, eh? Are you afraid that I'll die and leave you a widow?"
Nicole was speechless when she heard how he teased her. She regretted speaking up and thought that it wouldn't
hurt to let Roger teach this ignorant person a lesson. "Get lost," Nicole replied with a scowl.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure they shut up and behave." Colton laughed and spoke confidently. With that, he followed
Roger into the yard.
Since Colton's villa was a detached house, it had a spacious front yard surrounded by high walls on three sides, so
they didn't have to worry about being seen by others. As they stood in the yard, several burly men sat on the side
and watched on.
Just by looking at the two men's physiques, it was clear that they were vastly different. Nicole expressed her
concern and said, "Stop when one party gets tagged. Don't hurt anyone's life or cause any irreparable injuries."
