Chapter 799
Nicole was taking small mouthfuls of her chowder when she suddenly remembered something. Looking up at
Zachary, she asked, "Can you send me to the hospital later? Madam Gould has woken up, so I would like to check in
on her."
Nodding, Zachary agreed, "Sure. I'll send you over after you finish your meal."
Nicole then enjoyed her chowder in small mouthfuls. Her stomach was empty, so she felt famished after sleeping
for so long.
Zachary did an excellent job making the chowder. Not only did he remove the poultry smell from the meat, but it
was tender as well.
After Nicole finished her meal, she had him send her to the hospital.
Zachary didn't head up with her but instead waited in the car.

anymore and she could walk more steadily.
Siobhan was still staying at Town Central Hospital, but she was arranged to be moved into the VIP ward, which
Colton had mentioned to Nicole earlier.
Before Nicole went in, she politely knocked on the door and heard a deep voice from inside.
"Come in."
Pushing the door open, Nicole glanced across the many people that filled the spacious room.
There were Evelyn, Gabriel, Colton, Siobhan, and a gray-haired man inside. The gray-haired man had an indifferent
expression and was exuding a domineering aura just by sitting there. If Nicole's guess was right, the gray-haired old
man would be Jackson Wrenn.
Nicole then politely greeted everyone there. "Hello."
Following that, Colton came forward and stood beside her before smiling and introducing Nicole to them. "Mr.
Wrenn, this is Nicole Anderson. She has the same blood type as Madam Gould and donated the blood that saved
Madam Gould."
Nicole followed his gaze and looked over at the gray-haired man. A smile appeared on her pale face as she greeted
him as Colton did. "Hello, Mr. Wrenn."
Meanwhile, Jackson looked up at Nicole. He stood up before taking one step forward and eyed her up and down
with his sharp and cold eyes, making her shiver.
As expected of a militant. His every move feels suppressive.
With his aura slightly withdrawn, Jackson nodded calmly and thanked her. "Colton told me what happened
yesterday. Thank you for your kind gesture. If there's anything I can help you with, don't hesitate to mention it."
Nicole declined the offer by shaking her head and saying, "Thank you, but I don't need it. I would do the same thing
even if it were another person. I can't just stand there and do nothing when I can be saving a life."
Once Nicole finished her words, Evelyn couldn't stand it anymore and jumped to her feet before snapping

Family? My dad has offered you a favor and yet here you are, putting on frills. Just tell us whatever you want! The
Wrenn Family does not want to owe you anything."
Nicole lowered her gaze and a trace of disappointment appeared in her eyes. A while later, she raised her head and
murmured, "It seems like I shouldn't have come. Since Madam Gould has recovered, I have no reason to be here,
so I'll leave."
After she said that, she was about to leave when Siobhan, who was lying on the bed, spoke up. "Evelyn, Nicole is my
savior, so watch your tone!"
When Evelyn heard Siobhan scold her, an aggrieved expression appeared on the younger woman's face as she
clenched her fists and stomped her feet. "Mom, this woman must have a reason for saving you! Don't you
remember how she threatened me before?"
Hearing that matter being mentioned, Siobhan turned even gloomier and reprimanded, "That's enough! Evelyn,
you're no longer a child. You should be more mature."
Once she finished her words, she coughed a few times. As she was still sick, her body trembled fiercely as she
coughed and her eyebrows were scrunched together from the pain.
