Hearing Jack’s words, Leo and Max stared at him in shock. They'd thought Jack would, at most, stay out of it.

They never expected him to be on their side, let alone encourage them to be more aggressive.

Noticing the strange looks in their eyes, Jack frowned, “What are you staring at? Didn't you hear what | said?”

get why you're backing us this time.”

“Yeah, you're usually all about keeping things calm. What's going on today? This isn’t like you at all,” Max added.

As soon as Max finished speaking, Jack retorted, “Nonsense! Elysia has been bullied. How can | just stand by and

do nothing?

“Before, | told you not to do anything because she was still with the Rosewood family, and Scott was still her

supposed father. If you'd done something, it would have been bad for her.

“But now the truth’s out. That Scott dared to treat our girl so badly. If we don’t teach him a lesson, he'll think

we're weaklings!”

Leo wholeheartedly agreed with Jack. He nodded vigorously. “You are right. He dares to bully Elysia. He's gotta

pay for it!”

Max said, “Jack, Leo's absolutely right. I've changed my mind. Forget waiting until tomorrow. I'm gonna go grab

Scott later and show him how strong my punches are!”

Elysia watched them and smiled. She could handle these things herself, but since they wanted to let off some

steam, why not let them?

Besides, Scott couldn't really stop them, so it was okay to let them have a bit of fun.

Just then, Leo had already taken out his custom-made laptop and typed in scode. In no time, he

successfully hacked into the Rosewood Group's network system and planted a virus.

Even though Leo was pretty old, his typing speed was as fast as a young person's. In just a few minutes, he

crashed the entire Rosewood Group system.

Right away, there was chaos at the Rosewood Group. Scott anxiously stomped his foot and quickly gathered the

company’s tech team to fix and check the system.

“How's it going?” Scott asked the technicians sitting in front of the computers, his brows knitted together.

“Mr. Rosewood, this hacker is really good. It might take a while to crack.”

The technician wiped the cold sweat off his forehead. In all his years of work, he’d never met such a skilled

hacker. He looked at Scott with a worried expression, not sure what to say. “Mr. Rosewood... | really don’t know.”

When Scott heard this, he got angry. “I’m giving you one hour to fix this. If it's not done by then, you can pack

The tech guy quickly stood up in a panic when he saw the masked man. He wiped the cold sweat from his brow.

“Mr. Rosewood,” he said nervously.

Scott gave him a sideways look and motioned for him to move aside.

Then Scott looked at the masked man and said in a low voice, “If you can get the company’s network system

back up within an hour, I'll pay you the full reward we agreed on.”

The masked man heard this and glanced sideways. When they made the deal, there was no tlimit set. If he

couldn't fix the system in an hour, he wouldn't get the money they'd talked about.

Business really was ruthless. If Scott was going to play dirty, he couldn’t blthe hacker for doing the same.

Scott didn’t really want to do this. But he'd just spent a huge amount of money that morning on a piece of land

in the northern, and now he had spend even more. It really hurt his wallet.

The masked man didn’t say a word and just sat down. But when he saw the way the hacker had gotten in, he

frowned a little. This technique seemed really familiar, like he'd seen it somewhere before.

He thought of that top hacker, Ace. A few years ago, he'd had the chance to go up against Ace, but

unfortunately, he'd lost.

Since then, he'd been looking for another chance to challenge him, but Ace had refused and even disappeared.

This technique was exactly like what Ace had used back then-there was no way he was wrong.

He never thought that after a few years, they'd meet again like this. It was really interesting.

But then he saw Scott standing behind him. Ace rarely took on side jobs, and in the past two years, his nhad

Now, Ace showed up here and hacked the Rosewood Group's system. It seemed Scott had done something to

make Ace mad.

The masked man definitely had to respect Ace, but when it cto the money he was owed, he wanted every

cent. Considering Scott was a shrewd businessman, it was only right to teach him a lesson.

With just a minute left, the masked man finally hit the Enter key, and the Rosewood Group's network system

quickly went back to normal. The worry on Scott's face finally disappeared.
