Carrying a black suitcase, Scott cdownstairs from the second floor, looking at Elysia with intense hatred in

his eyes.

Scott never imagined that Elysia would set him up like this. He thought, ‘Someone | once felt proud of and

thought | could use have turned the tables on me. She's heartless.

Elysia fully noticed the hatred in Scott's eyes. A slight smile appeared on her lips as she handed the suitcase to

Yuna while passing by, and then she walked towards Scott.

Bending slightly to meet Scott's gaze, her eyes mischievous, Elysia said, “Mr. Rosewood, | can see the hatred in

your eyes, but I'm a big-hearted person. Even though you hate me, I've prepared a special gift for you.”

Scott didn’t know what special gift Elysia was talking about. She waved at the bodyguard behind her, and the

man instantly let Scott go, pulling the tablecloth from his mouth with so much force that it cut the corner of his

lip.

Scott turned to confront the bodyguard in black, wanting to let out his anger. But Scott quickly backed down

when he saw the fierce look on the man’s face.

“Aren’t you curious about the special gift | prepared for you, Mr. Rosewood?” Elysia asked.

Hearing this, Scott frowned deeply, “What exactly are you planning?”

“It’s nothing, just a little gift for you. Why are you in such a hurry?” Elysia said, extending her hand. Yuna quickly

took another report out of the bag and handed it to her.

Elysia looked at the DNA test results in her hand, unable to hide her smile. “I can’t promise Mr. Rosewood will like

this gift, but | can guarantee your expression will be interesting to see.” With that, she handed the report to

Scott.

Scott hesitated for a moment before reaching out to take it. He thought, ‘Paternity test results? Whose are

these?’

With a suspicious look, Scott opened the report and saw the names Bella and Emma. His heart skipped a beat as

he quickly glanced at the end.

The report stated that Bella’s genes matched the genetic conditions to be Emma's biological mother.

Scott kept reading this line over and over, his grip tightening on the paper. It was just a piece of paper, yet it felt

like his sworn enemy, and he wanted to tear it to pieces.

Emma, who Scott thought was his adopted daughter, was the illegitimate child of Bella and another man. He'd

been cheated on all these years, raising someone else’s child. Scott thought, ‘Bella, how calculating you are.

‘Could Bella have faked her illness back then? The heartbroken from her daughter's death act was all calculated?

Bella wanted to bring back her biological daughter! With this thought, Scott's eyes burned with anger as he

looked at Bella.

Bella was clueless about what was happening, but her gut told her something was off. She thought, ‘What

exactly does that piece of paper Elysia for Scott? What makes him so furious?‘

Remembering the DNA test report she had seen earlier, Bella suddenly realized that the paper before her was

the sas the two she had just seen. She thought, ‘How can | not know what was written on it?"

If Bella guessed right, it must be the results of the test regarding her and Emma. She couldn’t think of any other

reason that would make Scott this angry.

The secret Bella had kept hidden for so many years was finally found out. Bella was panicking inside, but she

kept reminding herself to stay calm. She thought, ‘What if I'm mistaken? There's no need to give myself away

unnecessarily.

Elysia was quite pleased. She clapped her hands and said with a smile, “Since the gift has been delivered, I'll be

on my way. No need to seeout, Mr. Rosewood.”

your friend. so we stopped her.”

The bodyguards felt pleased with themselves; They thought, ‘Our boss is so reserved. How can she possibly have

friends? If this person wants to meet her, they should cup with a better reason!

Elysia raised an eyebrow and said clearly, “She is my friend.”

On hearing this, the bodyguards panicked. They had stopped their boss's friend outside. They thought, “What

Elena was stunned to hear the bodyguards call Elysia the boss. She thought, ‘Is Elysia their boss?

After that call in the afternoon, Elena couldn't stop worrying about Elysia. Her calls always went straight to

voicemail, so she decided to visit the Rosewood residence.

As soon as Elena arrived, she was shocked by the row of identical cars parked outside the Rosewood residence.

Additionally, several bodyguards in black were standing at the entrance.

Elena’s worry grew, fearing that the Rosewood family might have sent people to harm Elysia. Elena went to the

gate and said she was Elysia’s friend and wanted to go in, but the bodyguards wouldn't let her in.

The bodyguards said that without the boss's permission, nobody could enter. Their eyes were full of disdain,

revealing a clear distrust.

There was nothing Elena could do about the bodyguards, so she had no choice but to wait outside. After finally

getting Elysia to cout, she heard sshocking news.

Elena thought, “These people weren't sent by the Rosewood family but were brought by Elysia. And when they

called her boss, what does that make Elysia? No matter who she is, she will always be Elysia. The fact will never

change.

Once Elena cback to her senses, she looked Elysia over from head to toe. Seeing that she was fine. Elena

relaxed. “I'm just glad you're okay.”

It wasn’t that Elena didn’t want to ask about her doubts or find out Elysia’s true identity. It was just that if Elysia

wanted her to know, she would let her know.

Seeing Elena looking so worried, Elysia gave a gentle smile. “I'm fine, don’t worry, Elena.” Elysia then gently

held Elena’s hand, “Cwith me, Elena. There's somewhere | want to show you, and I'll explain everything on

the way.”
