He raised his voice and said, "You sure are getting very excited. Why don't you introduce yourself, then? You're
insulting me so much, but you can't even beat me! I know who you are very well..."
"You're from the third-grade world, Hundred Hand Continent. You're from a ninth-grade clan, and I heard you were
an inner disciple. It would be one thing if you were an inner disciple of a holy-grade clan, but you're just from a
trash ninth-grade clan! Stop trying to show off in front of me, you have no right to!"
The two of them were exposing each other, and they started to quarrel once again. Jack sighed helplessly, not
really wanting to get involved in their conflict.
Even though he did not like Lourain either, he understood the value of taking things slow. Everything should be
pushed behind for the moment since the most important thing was the Seven Deaths Array at that moment. After
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtthe two of them exposed each other, Jack had a good idea of the situation.
The two of them were just slightly stronger than regular warriors.
They were not at the level to be considered above average yet. To Jack, teammates of that level were just complete
burdens. Thinking about that, Jack sighed again.
Rudy could tell why Jack was sighing.
He whispered, "If you didn't need to enter with three people, you would have already gone in alone. You don't have
to worry too much, though. It's not like the others who had passed before seem all that strong. You're at the level
where you can defeat nine opponents by yourself, I doubt the Seven Deaths Array will trouble you."
Jack smiled and nodded before he said, "You can say that, but I'm still worried. The hero that set the rules naturally
has his own ideas on this. It might actually affect my ability to pass if I'm only looking out for myself."
That was the part Jack was worried about.
Without personally experiencing it before, Jack did not know what he would face when attempting the challenge. If
he was by himself, he would not need to think too much about it. However, three of them were entering at the
same time. He might end up failing because he neglected the two others.
Just thinking about it made him sigh. He was suddenly unable to figure out what to say.
At that moment, the two of them were still arguing with no signs of stopping.
Jack could no longer stand the situation.
He did not want to waste too much time, so he frowned and said to Lourain, "Can you shut up?! The two of you
might have time to waste, but I don't."
Even though those words were harsh, they still worked. The two of them suddenly shut their mouths.
Jack continued with a frown, "I don't care what happened between you two before this. When we're attempting the
challenge, forget all of that. Violet City is a challenge and an opportunity for both of you. If you can't even enter,
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmthen it would all be for nothing. You might lose out on the chance of a lifetime."
If it had been anything else, Jack would not even care even if the two of them ended up coming to blows. However,
the situation was special.
He needed the two of them to put aside their grudges for the moment and attempt to pass together. That was the
only way to avoid any unnecessary trouble.
Lourain scoffed and looked away.
Marth nodded at Jack, indicating that he understood. After he saw their attitudes, he felt even more helpless. One
was going to play along, while the other was not.
If Lourain was from a third-grade world, the problem would not exist.
This whole thing was happening because Lourain felt like he was better than the other two. He felt like his
teammates were not worthy of standing on the same team as him.
