Chapter 498
Sarah said, “I’m here to check on Leonard and Ben, and I bought them a gift.”
“A gift?” Charlie gave her a look.
Jonathan had gone into the room and taken out her gift. He shoved it back into her hand.
They didn’t like anything from her!
Sarah said, “It’s for the kids, not for you, so why should you refuse?”
Ben and Leonard had already walked out.
The two little ones looked at her and said, “We don’t want anything from you.”
“You hear that?” Charlie looked at the woman. “Sarah, since when are you allowed to come into my house? Who let

“Theresa,” Sarah said. “She’s my sister. Can’t I come over and see her? Besides, Theresa and
Eugene were truly in love, and they even have children. Charlie, just let them go!”
She looked like she was thinking of Theresa.
Charlie looked at her. He would have believed it if he hadn’t already heard the truth from Eugene today.
He said, “Come on. Get the hell out of here!”
Hearing his words, Jonathan quickly called for someone to come and kick Sarah out.
Just then, however, Old Mr. Calsis’ voice came from behind them. “Charlie!”
He came over and grinned. “Where are the boys?”
He missed Leonard and Ben, so he came over to see them, only to find that Charlie was home.
Charlie said, “Please go back now.”
Sarah was here. Charlie was really afraid that the old man would be overwhelmed.
All these years, the old man had been thinking of Sarah as his granddaughter-in-law…
Charlie was afraid that he would recognize Sarah as soon as he saw her.
Just then, Theresa came up from downstairs.
She was up here to see what was going on.
As soon as she came out of the elevator, Old Mr. Calsis saw her and said smilingly, “Sarah,
come here.”
Theresa saw Old Mr. Calsis looking at her with a smile. He was talking to her, right?
Uncertainly, she walked over to Old Mr. Calsis.

Theresa glanced at Sarah, who was about to be driven away, and heard Charlie say, “Please take Grandpa back.”
She knew what Charlie was worried about. He was afraid that Old Mr. Calsis would be affected
by Sarah’s presence, so she said to Old Mr. Calsis, “Let’s go and play chess!”
Sarah saw Theresa trying to take Old Mr. Calsis away, and hurriedly said, “Grandpa.”
She heard from Rose that the reason why Charlie married Theresa, who had been divorced, was pure that Old Mr.
Calsis had mistaken Theresa for her.
It proved that Old Mr. Calsis wanted her to be his granddaughter-in-law.
She remembered that when she was with Charlie, Charlie didn’t like her very much, but Old Mr.
Calsis had been supporting her.
Thinking of this, Sarah seemed to see the hope of marrying into the Calsis family. She trotted
over, but Charlie stopped her directly.
He wouldn’t allow her to get in front of Old Mr. Calsis!
Old Mr. Calsis heard someone call him, and he said, “Who is it?”
