Chapter 43 Zion was still caught off guard when a woman in a dress approached us. Her long hair flowed down to her waist, and she carried herself with an air of confidence. Unfortunately, the briefcase she held seemed mismatched with her elegant appearance.
This woman clearly didn't like Zion, for her tone was curt as she spoke. "Zion, where's Ms. Norman? I need to see her." Zion didn't respond. Instead, he stood on his tiptoes, trying to see if anyone else was with her. When he confirmed she was alone, his expression soured.
"I never mentioned to anyone in the company that Selena was in the hospital. How did you find out? Andy, who told you?" "Andy?" I frowned. That nsounded familiar. I remembered hearing it from Selena before.

When Selena had mentioned her, I had briefly wondered if there was something more between them, as she often brought her up.
The tension between the two was palpable, and neither seemed particularly happy.
While I was still processing this, Andy's gaze shifted to me. She raised an eyebrow, clearly not recognizing me. "Who's he? I've never seen him before. Why is he here?" Zion shota glance, clearly reluctant to introduce me. "He's just an outsider. He has nothing to do with our business. Why do you need to know him?" I had no idea what I had done wrong, but I felt that Zion's words carried a personal undertone.
"Andy, I'll ask you again. Why are you here? I've never told anyone in the company that Selena is in the hospital. How did you find out, and who told you?" Zion reiterated his question.
I wasn't sure what position Andy held in Selena's company. But she must have been someone important, as she didn't seem afraid of Zion, who also appeared unable to exert any authority over her.
"Why do I need to tell you how I found out? I have my own ways. Where is Ms. Norman? I need to see her about something important," Andy insisted.

"What's so important that it can't wait until I'm back? Why do you have to cto the hospital and interrupt Selena? Zion was frustrated, though I sensed he was holding back, possibly because he was wary of Andy.
"Zion, you're just an assistant to Ms.
Norman. You don't get to decide o.m everything." Andy replied, gfancing around impatiently. "Where is Ms.
Norman? I need to report on a project to her." "If you have anything to report, you can just email her. She's still checking her emails," Zion retorted, rolling his eyes.
"Email?" Andy seemed surprised by Zion's suggestion and quickly shifted to mocking him. "Who knows if it's the actually MS, Norman reading the end XMS emails or someone with ulterior motives? If any important secrets get leaked, can you and I be held responsible? That's why I need to report to Ms. Norman in person. "Zion, are you trying to stopbecause you're hiding something from us?"
