Chapter 4328
Arlet popped out from the side before speaking up.
"You should look at me too, Harvey!"
She quickly leaned towards him.
Harvey nodded with a smile, then studied Arlet.
"That's strange. Your luck isn't supposed to be that good..." he said with a frown.
"Other than your luck in fortune, you've been having good luck in terms of romance as well."
"Did you meet a man you like recently?"
Arlet froze.
"No. I haven't seen anyone, but..."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtArlet's face went bright red, and she stopped herself.
Harvey couldn't be bothered to expose her after seeing her looking so nervous.
He took another look at Arlet before frowning again. A hint of dead air was hanging on her as well.
It looked completely identical to the one on Wes.
"Is something wrong, Sir York?" Wes instinctively asked after seeing the look on Harvey's face. Harvey smiled.
"It's not that big of a deal. That said, it's still better to take precautions."
Harvey then drew something for Arlet and told her to keep it safe.
Arlet was confused, but she kept the piece of paper without questioning it. Vrr, vrr, vrr!
Right as Wes was about to ask more questions, Arlet's phone rang.
Arlet shook before taking the call.
"The person's here, Grandfather," she said to Wes.
Wes nodded; right as he was about to leave, he stopped next to Harvey.
"Do you have time tonight?"
Harvey froze, then smiled.
"What's the matter?"
"I'm meeting a friend. It's a little risky."
Wes smiled back.
"I wasn't confident about this, but I think everything will go smoothly with you there." Naturally, Harvey's impressive
geomancy skills were extremely trustworthy to Wes.
With Harvey around, he'd lessen his risks drastically.
At least he wouldn't be bested by geomancy.
More importantly, Harvey's expression seemed quite odd.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmWes didn't ask more, but his gut told him it'd be way better if he had Harvey's company.
Harvey nodded after seeing Wes's stern expression.
"Sure. I don't have much to do, anyway. I'll take a look around with you."
"Of course. I'll leave it up to you."
"No matter what happens tonight, consider this doing me a favor."
Wes gestured for Harvey to step outside with him.
They stepped out of the Regency Building before going to a private garage.
A lot of people were already gathered here. A man and a woman stood in front of the crowd.
The two were beautiful and handsome with a hint of cold air around them. Their expressions were the definition of
pride and arrogance.
The man seemed especially cocky.
He was standing there with his arms crossed, as if nobody around him had the right to even be looked at by him.
