Chapter 609
As Estelle changed her shoes to go out, Jonathan came in, and they met face to face. “Are you leaving now? I’ll walk you out!” he said.
Yvonne hurried over, happily saying, “Jonathan, you’re back! Mr. Lamont was just looking for you, you’d better go up quickly
Estelle took her bag and walked out, “I’m leaving now!”
“Alright!” Jonathan replied.
As they Brushed past each other, Jonathan headed upstairs. Once on the second floor, he saw Estelle leaving through the main entrance and getting into the driver’s car. Only then did he turn around to see Geoffrey in the study.

Estelle.
Charlie picked up Estelle and Emily, and they arrived at Midnight Bar around 7 pm. Carson, Josiah, and others were already there, and Josiah brought Amiee with him.
Yvonne, Andrew, and others also arrived one after another. Only Jonathan was late because of work.
The food and drinks were served, and people gathered in small groups
Estelle, Emily, and Amiee were chatting together, while Jane and others were surrounding Yvonne. Carson was inviting Andrew and others to play cards.
Charlie also invited Estelle and Emily to play cards. Joined by Yvonne, the four of them sat just like the last time, following the same
rules.
Amiee didn’t know how to play poker and initially wanted to sit behind Estelle to learn, but Josiah quickly called her away.
Charlie glanced at the two sitting together and chuckled, “It seems like this guy and Amiee have gotten closer in just a few days.” Among them, only Estelle knew the story and just smiled without saying anything.
When Jonathan arrived, Estelle’s forehead already had two turtle marks printed on it. As he entered, she looked back, and their eyes met, the man laughed out loud.
Embarrassed, Estelle turned her head away.
Yvonne called out, “Jonathan, come over here and help me! I’m not sure what cards to play!”
However, he pulled up a chair and sat behind Estelle, saying, “I’ve had a bit to drink, I need to sober up first.”
Estelle looked back and saw him half-drunk, “Do you want some yogurt? It might make you feel better.”
With a deep gaze, he stared at her and whispered, “No, I hate sour tastes. Only on certain occasions will I eat it. You know that better than anyone, don’t you?”

The private room was lively, and no one heard what Jonathan said. Estelle blushed, “Seems like you’re really drunk!”
Jonathan chuckled softly, looking at Estelle’s cards. He held back the card she was about to play and threw another one out instead, “for all the times I’ve taught you, you still don’t know how to play!”
Estelle frowned, staring seriously at her cards, stubbornly saying, “I didn’t do anything wrong!”
“You’ll find out soon enough if you made a mistake!”
Charlie scoffed, “Well, now that Jonathan’s here, there’s no chance I can win this round! Emily, you’re my only hope!”
Yvonne laughed softly, “Emily plays after you. How can she help you?”
As she focused on her cards, she noticed out of the corner of her eye, Jonathan and Estelle sitting together. She had felt something was off before but refused to believe it.
