Chapter 1747
“Today, you’re asking me to foot the bill of a million dollars again. Do you think selling every part of me would
amount to a million dollars?”
“I’ve been patient, only because I know your struggles, raising my brother and me alone. But my patience has not
earned me your affection, only your harsh abandonment over and over again!”
Gina, stripped of her dignity, suddenly broke down into tears, “Emily, I really had no choice. You’re a girl; at least
you can get married. Who else could your brother rely on if I didn’t help him?”
Emily, her face filled with sorrow, nodded slowly, “Well then, let’s make it clear from today. I’ll take care of Dad’s
problems. I’ll pay his debts. Consider your parental kindness repaid today, and we have no relationship henceforth.
You only need to look after my brother!”

Emily replied coldly, “I mean it. You can leave now!”
“Mom, since Emily said so, Elliott and I will take care of you from now on. Let Emily take care of Dad and the
compensation that follows won’t have anything to do with us!” Bonnie, holding Gina’s arm, “Let’s go home!”
Gina, her face covered, gave Emily a guilty glance, and turned to leave with Bonnie.
“Stop!” Magdalen suddenly shouted, her beautiful eyes cold and stern, “If you want clarity, let’s sign an agreement,
in case you let Emily handle this now but shamelessly seek her out later when you have issues!”
Bonnie, angered by Magdalen’s words, gritted her teeth, “Fine, let’s sign. I was thinking Emily might be the one who
backs out!”
Magdalen picked up her phone and called her assistant, “Get a contract printed right away. I’ll dictate, and send it
here immediately!”
Bonnie glanced at Magdalen, a smirk tugged at the corner of her lips.
Magdalen clearly outlined the responsibilities of the siblings of the Sullivan family in taking care of their parents to
her assistant.
While her assistant was printing the agreement, Magdalen asked Bonnie to call Elliott over.
Since it was the Sullivan family’s matter, all should be present to discuss.
Elliott was unreachable initially but after two more calls, he picked up, saying he was in a meeting.
Upon hearing the news, Elliott rushed over immediately.
By the time Elliott arrived, Magdalen’s assistant had delivered the agreement.
Elliott, after learning what had transpired, refused to sign. He looked at Emily, heartbroken, turned to Gina and said,
“Mom, you’re expecting Emily to pay 1 million dollars. How is she going to do that? She’ll never be able to Pay it all
back!”

disabled father. How would she survive?
Gina hung her head in silence. Bonnie nudged Elliott, “So, you want to sell the house to pay off the debt? If you dare
to sell the house, I’ll abort the baby!”
Elliott was taken aback, “You’re pregnant?”
“Yes, I was planning to surprise you this weekend during our date, but now I might as well say it. If you don’t believe
me, we’re in a hospital. We can get it checked right now!” Bonnie said defiantly.
Elliott was stunned. He and Bonnie had been trying for a baby since last month. He was of course looking forward
to their child, but he hadn’t expected to find out under such circumstances.
Gina was also happy, but remembering how she had lied to Emily about Bonnie being pregnant earlier, her face
flushed quiltily, and she dared not show her joy.
Magdalen scoffed, “What a spectacle!. Enough with the delay, let’s sign the agreement!”
