Chapter 1673
Estelle laughed as she looked up at him, “No, I didn’t sketch any designs.”
Jonathan raised an eyebrow, “Then what have you been up to?”
“I was taking meeting notes.” Estelle’s eyes sparkled, “Want to have a look?”
“Meeting notes?” Jonathan was surprised, “Sure, let me see!”
Estelle turned and handed him her notebook, her eyebrows slightly raised, “Mr. Lamont, be my guest.”
Jonathan took the notebook and flipped it open, only to freeze at what he saw. Estelle had drawn two sketches of
him. One was of him listening to a colleague’s presentation. Leaning against his chair, he was frowning slightly,
strands of his hair falling onto his forehead, his face in deep thought.
The other one was him looking down at some documents, his side profile smooth, his eyes narrow and full of

Jonathan looked at the two sketches for a long while, his heart filled with a wave of emotions. It felt like he was
being thrown up into the clouds by a wave, dizzy with satisfaction, not wanting to come back down.
He looked up at Estelle, his gaze intense, “You drew these during the meeting?”
But he hadn’t noticed that Estelle had been staring at him all this time. She was so focused on sketching him that he
had thought she was working on a design.
Estelle seemed to know what he was thinking, and she chuckled softly, “One look is all it takes to imprint you in my
mind. I don’t need to stare at you constantly.”
Jonathan’s eyes were deep and dark, and he was incredibly touched. He pulled Estelle into a hug and was at a loss
for words for a moment. He finally said, his voice husky and low, “I had no idea you were such a great artist.”
Estelle’s eyes skills?”
twinkled, “Are you complimenting your own handsome face or my drawing
Jonathan pulled her closer into his embrace, kissed her cheek, and said with a warm breath, “Of course I’m
complimenting you! You’re so talented. I feel like I don’t deserve you. I’m so proud of you!”
Estelle raised an eyebrow, “I am, after all, Mr. Quintin’s last student. Can’t let him down, can

“I’m going to frame these and put them on my
desk.”
“Why?” Estelle raised an eyebrow, “So you can admire your handsome face every day?”
Jonathan laughed at her teasing, “Then draw one of yourself, and I’ll put it up!”
“No way!” Estelle scoffed, “I don’t want people to know that Mr. Lamont is lovesick over his own wife.”
Jonathan was thoroughly amused by her, and he held her face in his hands and said, “My Ella is so adorable. I want

He leaned in and kissed her, starting from her eyebrows and moving down to her nose.
Estella had to stand on her tiptoes to meet his kiss and deepen it.
That night, Jonathan and Estelle went to Courtney’s place at Yum Yum Bakery for dinner. Estelle didn’t show any
signs of discomfort, and she didn’t even mention the incident with Bennett from that morning.
The next day, knowing that Estelle was going to be resting at home, Jonathan wanted her to come to work with him.
But Estelle was tired from a restless night and didn’t feel like getting up. She promised Jonathan she would come to
the office for lunch.
“Don’t sleep too long. I’ll call you to wake you up for breakfast.”
Jonathan said softly, spent some more time with her, and then he left for work.
Not long after he left, Estelle was half-asleep when she heard her phone vibrate.
She reached for it with her eyes closed, finally finding it under her pillow. Without looking, she swiped to answer and
held it to her ear,
A haughty female voice came through the phone, “Estelle, do you remember me?”
Estelle’s eyes snapped open, the sleepiness instantly replaced by a cold chill, “Antonia.”
