Sierra shook her head slightly and answered in a trembling voice, "I don't know what happened. The horse charged straight at me... Yvette, I almost died." Yvette could feel how tightly she was squeezing her, but she didn't complain. She just held her closer. "It's okay. Don't be scared." Seeing how terrified she was, Theo's heart tightened. His dissatisfaction with Douglas only deepened, and his voice turned colder. "Mr. Brown, get your ass here!" The way he addressed Douglas made it clear to everyone that he was truly angry.
Douglas froze for a moment before getting up, resentment flashing in his eyes.

Douglas kept his head down and remained silent for a long moment before finally muttering, "I'm sorry." Completely insincere.
Daniel and Simon both felt he had gone too far and were about to speak had had her up when Sierra, who had eyes closed the entire time, suddenly said, "I want to go home."
