Chapter 281 Appearance Felicia paled, but she quickly put on a shy expression as she looked at Cayden. "Cayden, I... I really just happened to be passing by. I saw you standing here and cover to say hello." Cayden's expression remained gentle, and his voice was as warm as ever. "It's fine. You can continue with whatever you were doing." Her dimmed slightly, but instead of leaving, she turned her gaze toward Sierra inside the piano room. "Sierra is improving. Ms. Anderson really is an amazing teacher." Hearing her credit all of Sierra's hard work to Jemima, Madison immediately felt annoyed, replying with a sarcastic edge, "No matter how good a teacher is, if the student is useless and only thinks about scheming all day, they still won't learn anything." Felicia stiffened and cursed Madison in her heart for meddling, but on the surface, she feigned an innocent expression.

"Madison, what do you mean? You've been sarcastic since earlier. If I somehow offended you, I'll apologize right now. I'm sorry, okay?" Cayden was about to smooth things over when Madison let out a cold laugh. "Don't you know what you have done? You pushed that idiot Janice into using public pressure to force Sierra out of the competition. And after getting exposed, you were disciplined by the school. Did you forget all that?" He was in shock. He had heard about the incident but hadn't expected it to be true.

"Felicia, why would you do something like that? Do you even realize the consequences? Sierra worked so hard to return to this field, and you were trying to destroy her?" His questions cone after another, every word filled with anger on Sierra's behalf.

Felicia felt both jealous and guilty. "I wasn't trying to ruin her... I was just unwilling to accept it and wanted to cause her strouble," she mumbled, her eyes reddening as she tried to sound pitiful.

Madison scoffed, clearly unconvinced. Cayden's expression darkened as his voice turned cold. "No matter what your reasons were, you shouldn't have done it." Felicia lowered her head with resentment flickering in her eyes as she choked out, "I understand now. I was wrong, Cayden." Cayden didn't say anything else, and his attitude remained distant and indifferent.

Realizing this, Felicia couldn't hold back her tears. She shot Madison a furious glare, but compared to her, Sierra was the person she hated the most.

Thinking about the rumors she'd heard lately and what she saw that morning, she sneered inwardly.

A genius? Queen of the Keys? More like a shameless flirt.

On one hand, she was still clinging to Benson, acting all reluctant to let go. On the other, she was cozying up to another man outside of school. And worst of all, she was seducing Cayden right here on campus.

She used to preach about relying on her own talent instead of men. Felicia wanted to see how Sierra would react once the truth was revealed.

"Not bad. You've regained your peak form. And after spending a few years out in the world your experiences have deepened your emotions. The way you play now carries even more feeling-it truly moves people." "There will be a piano selection competition soon. The top three will qualify for the International Piano Masters Tournament. I'd like to sign you up." Jemima looked at her outstanding student with admiration, once again reminded of how important talent was.

Sierra's eyes shone with excitement.

Her hands clenched into fists on her lap as she she spoke with determination.

"I want to participate. I want to see what level pianists from other countries are at." Only by understanding the gap between herself and other pianists could she work hard to bridge that distance.

She didn't want to be a so-called "Queen of the Keys" within the m school. She wanted to step onto a bigger stage and earn recognition from a wider audience. Jemima nodded in satisfaction. "Use these next few days to prepare well. Once you've decided on your competition piece, submit it to me."
